About
Peter Mahaffey is the lead pastor of Royal York Baptist Church in Toronto.
He was born in the Philippines but grew up on the east side of Toronto.
He did his undergrad and masters at Heritage College & Seminary, served as an associate pastor at Grace Fellowship Church Rexdale, and since 2019 has been the pastor at Royal York Baptist Church.
He has a love for the Church and a passion to make known the surpassing worth of Jesus.
He is happily married to his wife Gracie and together they have two daughters— Inez and Eden.

Sermon: The Fallout of the Fall (Genesis 3:8-24)
This event was the most devastating event in human history.
Before this, there was harmony, goodness, beauty. There was harmony between man and the creation itself. Harmony between the man and his wife; harmony between man and God. They lived in the presence of God and experienced the fullness of God’s pleasure.

Sermon: You Have a Divine Creator (Genesis 1:1)
The opening chapters of Genesis addresses the deepest questions of life: Who am I? Why do I exist? What is my purpose? What does it mean to be human? Are we no different than the animal kingdom or is there something uniquely distinct about humans? Where is history headed? Why is there evil in this world? More importantly, why is there good? Why is there death? Why is the world full of suffering? What does it mean to be male and female? Does God exist or did the cosmos come about by mere chance?
